Timely implementation of the project Construction of a thermal discharge system on the filling pipelines of the railway terminal at the Fuel Base No. 1 in Koluszki, completed with acceptance on September 5, 2024 Sometimes it happens that the fuel in the pipeline closed between two valves heats up due to solar radiation and causes an increase in pressure in the pipeline. This is a natural thing, but if the installation is not protected with appropriate fittings, a safety-critical situation and a threat to the environment may occur. Therefore, the employees of the Center’s Service Team took up the challenge: they designed, selected fittings and protected the pipelines against excessive pressure increases. Effect: the safety valve discharges the collector and the fuel goes entirely into the tank instead of into the ground.
